About sEN Manny Mentor
Relationship-led, creative mentoring & tutoring designed around each child.

SEN Manny Mentor exists because too many thoughtful young people have been expected to cope in systems that never truly understood them.
We work with neurodivergent children and young people, including those with autism, ADHD, PDA profiles, dyslexia, anxiety, and educational or life trauma. Many arrive after long periods of stress or shutdown. Families often reach us not because they are searching for something new, but because what has already been tried has not helped.
We are small by design. We work carefully. What we do only works when a young person feels safe enough to be themselves. That sense of safety is never rushed.
That is where we begin.
our Philosophy
Most children are not struggling because they lack ability. They struggle because the environment around them has not adapted in the right way.
Our work is grounded in the understanding that trust has to come before learning. When a child has experienced pressure, burnout, or repeated misunderstanding, progress cannot be pushed back into place.
We do not force engagement or move ahead before a young person is ready.
We focus on stabilising first. We build relationship over time. We follow curiosity when it appears. Gradually, confidence begins to return. From there, learning and growth can happen in a way that holds.
EOTAS is central to our work because it allows education to be shaped around the whole child. It gives space for emotional safety and regulation to be taken seriously. When a young person feels understood, progress tends to follow naturally.

Where We Work
We provide in-person SEN mentoring, SEN tutoring, and EOTAS support across London and Hertfordshire.
We also work remotely with families across the UK when online support feels safer or more manageable. Some young people begin online and move into in-person sessions later. Others remain remote.
Support adapts as needs change. Every family arrives with a different history, and we take time to understand what will genuinely help.
How it works
We make things simple. From the first call, our aim is to help your child feel safe, understood and supported.
1
Get in Touch
You reach out when something is no longer working and you need steady, experienced support.
2
Initial Conversation
We have a calm conversation to understand your child, what has been happening, and what feels most important right now.
3
Trial Session
A gentle trial session follows. This is about seeing whether the support feels right for your child, without pressure or expectation.
4
Ongoing Support
If it feels like a good fit, we begin consistent work. Support is held by a small team who reflect together and adapt as your child changes.
