Our approach is relationship-led, child-led and interest-led. We build trust first, then use creativity and the young person’s interests to bring learning back in gently.
EOTAS stands for Education Otherwise Than At School. Put simply, when a classroom stops working, education can still happen somewhere that does.
EOTAS gives us the freedom to shape education around who your young person is, how they learn and what helps them feel safe enough to engage.
Many of the young people we support are PDA, autistic, ADHD, dyslexic or dyspraxic. Some are living with anxiety or the impact of educational or wider life trauma.

EOTAS is not giving up. It gives us the freedom to begin again without forcing the young person back into an approach that has already caused distress.
We create a safe space where trust can grow, curiosity can return and learning can begin to feel possible again.
What we cover
From there, we use their interests to build intrinsic motivation and bring learning back in step by step. It may be woven into conversation, creative work, personalised audio learning or real-life experiences, so it does not always feel like formal teaching.
The education is purposeful, but it does not have to look like school. Our aim is to help the young person rediscover curiosity and begin to enjoy learning again, at a pace that feels right for them.

No two young people are the same, so no two EOTAS plans should look the same.
We currently deliver English, maths, drama, PE, digital and creative media, alongside specialist SEN mentoring. Learning may take place at home, in the community or through EOTAS trips.
We begin with the relationship, not the timetable. For some young people, the first stage may be entirely about feeling safe with their mentor or specialist SEN teacher. That trust cannot be rushed.
